Immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Residential Service Technician that has a talent for keeping customers happy. Our fast growing company offers competitive salaries and benefits for the service technician that wants to go beyond just repairing equipment.

Job Title: Experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE + Spiffs + Benefits

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, evenings, weekends as needed; on-call rotation required

Primary Job Function: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Assist with training Service Technicians. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory and retail pricing. Develop training programs for the service department as needed and directed.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Insurable driving record
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
• Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in Service of HVAC equipment.
• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes.
• Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder.
• Low Voltage License
• Meet all qualifications and have all tools required. Including ability to demonstrate working knowledge of daily, weekly, monthly skills noted below.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• Advanced customer service skills
• Acquire NATE certifications within one year of employment
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance.
• Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, idea's and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
• Experience in training and mentoring service technicians.
• Operate scissors and genie lifts in safe manner.

Qualifications desired:
• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School
• Possess tools needed
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
